SevenMizer

With SevenMizer you can transform your Windows XP, MCE or Server 2003 into the look of Windows 7. Therefore nearly 400 files with new Icons, pictures as well as videos are modified. This means that SevenMizer does not provide own files and change your system files. That has the advantage that SevenMizer works with each language and no changes of the language specifics are made. The installer is so developed that you have completely the change which will be modified and which not. Even if you select files, which are possibly not at all on your system available or not compatible, the application recognizes this and jumps over these. This ensures that the system does not become unstable because of wrong modification. After updates if your system data are overwritten, then a renewal of these is possible by using an extra program that is linked by the SevenMizer. The application examines thereby, which files are updated and re-modify only these. This means a very fast re-modification and it is always the current data in the Backup. However if the result of the installation should not assure to you, you have the possibility to get back the old system by an un-installation. If newer files are already present in the system by updates, this is recognized by the un-installer and only the modified files will be replaced.

Problem - A DLL was moved in the cache
After the installation of SevenMizer I got the message that a DLL was moved in the cache. How can I solve this problem?
Install all current Windows Updates, specialy the KB971029, after this the problem is solved.

Problem - Stop during installation
Evertime I try to install SevenMizer it stops and hang. How can I solve this problem?
This can have different options:
1. Defect hardware (RAM, Festplatte, etc).
2. One of your installed "security or tuning"-tool blocks the installation. Please close really every other tools during the installation of SevenMizer (specialy antivirus and firewall tools).

Problem - Old icons appear after Windows Update
After the monthly Windows Updates some or most of the icons are in the old XP style. How can I get back the 7-Design?
Windows Updates replaced the modified files of SevenMizer to get back the 7-Design please use the link "Data Rebuild" to modify the current files again. After a restart everything should be in the 7_Design again.

Problem - An application (e.g. Nero) will not work
After installation of SevenMizer I have problems with different applications (e.g. Nero). How can I solve this?
Install this application again or do a reparation of it. If it still not work, deactivate the extra tools, which you have installed with SevenMizer.

Problem - In the Startmenue on the upper right is only a black box
After installation of SevenMizer I do not see my userpic on the upper right only a black box. How can I solve this?
This problem is only when you have activated the alternative (classical) logon, please change back to the standard XP logon and your userpic is back.

Problem - Setup stopps during extraction
During the installation of SevenMizer the setup stopps by the extraction, even after waiting longer then 30 minutes. How can I solve this?
This problem actually occurs only when the icon size of "Properties -> Display -> Appearance -> Advanced" has been changed. Set it back to the default value of 32 and the setup should work as usual.

Zu erst muss der Parameter /S erfolgen, damit die Installation unbeaufsichtigt abläuft, die nachfolgenden Parameter können danach variable genutzt werden!
In dem Angegebenen Beispiel wird der SevenMizer unbaufsichtigt ohne Modifikation des Media Player, Movie Maker, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express und ohne Verknüpfungen installiert.
